My mom would sing me this when I was child.  I refer to it as "my song."  This is OUR song mom.  I sing this song when I need you most.  Whenever I feel lost or alone I sing this and I always remember that even if everything in this life seems too confusing to understand, my mommy understands me most.  

Thank you for being the best mom.  You're MY mom.  

Defining Honesty.

Honest: Free of deceit and untruthfulness; sincere.

Honesty: The quality of being honest.

Friendship: 1.  The emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends.

2. A relationship between friends.

Relationship: 1. The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are

connected, or the state of being connected.

2. The state of being connected by blood or marriage.

Character:  1. The mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.

2. The distinctive nature of something.

 

For the record. Being honest is the best quality to possess.  'Free of deceit and untruthfulness'. That is something to build a foundation upon.  Wether it be in a friendship or any relationship.  It is a judgement of your character when you act accordingly.  Being honest isn't just saying the 'right thing at the right time'.  It is doing the right thing, even when no one else is watching.  Being deceitful shows the flaws within your own character.  Instead of lashing out and placing petty blame on someone else for you own lack of character, it consistently shows how 'un-pretty' you truly are.  Having a pretty face is nothing if you lack the confidence, classiness, and qualities of an honest character.  In fact, your deceitful whispers say nothing of me but shout and uncover your lack of acting like a lady.  I think you should improve your character and work on being honest.

And he does it again!

You guys... I LOVE TITANIC! As we all know, it was released in theaters for the second time! This time in 3D, but still the same GREAT film.  My mom and I have been so dang giddy we couldn't stand it.  On friday we called up the girls of the family and we headed for a night out.  First we went to GoodWood and had fantastic ribs.  After a much appreciated meal, we picked Shea up (Dolly's sister) and got on our oh-so-cute 3D glasses and enjoyed my favorite film.

Of course it still had all of the perks.  The amazingly talented young Leo DID IT AGAIN! On the reals... I love him.  I'm pretty sure Daulton wanted to kill me throughout the movie while I kept elbowing her every time his 'hotness' made my knees weak.

Not only did I enjoy Titanic friday with my family, but I'm watching it again, right now as I type this up.  Top 5 movies:

2. Lion King

3. Boondock Saints

4. Tombstone

5. Finding Neverland

Favorite Actor?

Leonardo Dicaprio... duh.

Needless to say.. I love the movie. And I've ultimately enjoyed my weekend. 

Dreams Come True.

Almost a year ago now I had a sporadic urge and I went to Sam's Club with my mom and I purchased myself a Canon Rebel... in other words, a REALLY nice camera.  At the time I didn't think anything more of it besides it was a nice camera.  My friend Riki had purchased a nice camera and I felt inspired to do the same.  I guess I was a copycat.  But looking back, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  

I enrolled in a beginning photography class this semester, and even though it's a saturday class and it just MIGHT be the death of me, somewhere along the way I fell in love with it.  I find peace and comfort when I am behind the lens capturing moments.  I think I can make it in the photography world.  I try my best.  But here is some of my work so far.
